GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — With the 16th annual ArtPrize just days away, the Uptown Grand Rapids community is ready to showcase what their district has to offer.

Each year, ArtPrize draws thousands to Grand Rapids to see public art displays in businesses, churches, outdoor spaces, parks, museums and everything in between. The Uptown district first participated in 2024 with about two dozen businesses displaying artwork in the neighborhood.

For this year's festival, 33 businesses in the Eastown, East Hills, Wealthy Street and East Fulton districts will be hosting art—and a free celebration is getting the festivities started.

Organized by Uptown, Inc., the event is promising live performances from local artists, food trucks, a district-wide scavenger hunt and a look at ArtPrize entries.
