Caroline Bleach is the new acting headteacher of Deans Community High School in Livingston. ‌

She will be a familiar face to many in the Deans school community, having served as depute headteacher for the past eight years. ‌

The former PE teacher joined Deans from Dalziel High School in Motherwell, where she also served a principal teacher of pupil support and acting depute headteacher. ‌

Mrs Bleach started her teaching career in her home area of Fife, after graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in PE teaching, and spent a year travelling in Australia and New Zealand. READ MORE: Style Squad surprise shoppers at The Centre Livingston with free gift cards

A mum of two teenage daughters, she enjoys active outdoor pursuits and the gym in her free time. ‌
