POST FALLS, Idaho - A man from Montana was killed in a crash Monday night that blocked the freeway for several hours.
It happened around 4:30 Monday in the westbound lanes of I-90.
Idaho State Police say a man from Livingston, Montana was traveling eastbound and failed to negotiate a curve. His Prius went off the shoulder, crossed the center median and ended up in the westbound lanes.
A couple from Spokane was driving westbound in a semi. The Prius hit the semi and both vehicles were significantly damaged.
Two other vehicles were also hit.
The driver of the Prius died at the scene; no one else was hurt.
ISP closed westbound lanes for about three and a half hours.
The driver's name has not been released.
