The Afro Women and Youth Foundation (AWYF) community centre has become a safe haven, a meeting place and an essential source of support for Black youth, women and newcomer families in Sudbury.

It is an Afrocentric community-based programming space where people gather to connect, grow and belong. To ensure vital programs and services continue to remain strong and sustainable, AWYF is inviting friends and community members to help raise $20,000 by December.
