Three Louisiana residents have made this year’s Forbes Magazine list of the 400 richest people in America.

Todd Graves, the founder of Raising Cane’s, was ranked 46th on the list with an estimated net worth of $22 billion. This is the second year in a row Graves, 53, of Baton Rouge, has made the list; last year his net worth was estimated at $9.5 billion.

Raising Cane's concept of serving strictly chicken-finger-based meals originated when Graves was a student at the University of Georgia, his Forbes profile says. By 1996, he launched Raising Cane's and the rapidly-growing fast food chain is set to post $5.1 billion in sales this year with about 900 locations across the country.
