Police have arrested an 18-year-old man who they believe may have cut a globetrotter's round-the-world journey short by stealing his motorcycle in Nottingham. But they have been unable to track down the vehicle.

Yogesh Alekari was 15,000 miles (24,140) into his worldwide travels when his motorcycle was stolen in Wollaton Park on Thursday, August 28.

The 33-year-old set off from Mumbai in May to embark on a motorcycle challenge across the world, which has already seen him travel through countries including China, Russia, Estonia and Germany .
