BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A first-of-its-kind initiative to provide specialized support to autistic and neurodiverse students as they transition into higher education and adulthood has launched.

According to a release sent on Tuesday, LifeWorks for Autism and Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS) announced the LifeWorks Bridge Academy.

The LifeWorks Bridge Academy program will emphasize KCTC’s academic and career development, combined with LifeWorks personalized support and daily living skills. Training in areas such as financial literacy, career readiness, social interaction, health and wellness, and independent living skills will be provided.
