Cooler temperatures, sweaters, pumpkin-spice lattes... hints of fall are all around us this week in Boston, with only a brief warmup by Thursday.

Today, crews from National Weather Service Boston confirmed that five tornadoes touched down in Massachusetts from late Saturday’s severe storms . In fact, the survey team found five EF-1 tornadoes took place.

There were two distinct touchdowns in the town of Paxton, one touchdown in Holden, one in Berlin and the final touchdown in Stow. Tornadoes are rated from EF-0 to EF-5 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. EF-1 tornadoes have winds speeds between 86 and 110 mph.
