A driving school manager charged in the Massachusetts State Police commercial license bribery scandal will spend a month in federal prison following his sentencing Monday.
Scott Camara, 44, pleaded guilty in April to charges of perjury and conspiracy to falsify records. Federal prosecutors said he took part in a scheme to pass four Commercial Driver’s License applicants who hadn’t taken a federally mandated skills test. The Rehoboth resident was also accused of lying to a federal grand jury.
U.S. District Court Judge Indira Talwani sentenced him to one month in prison, followed by a year of supervised release, the U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed.
