"Breaking Bad" actor Raymond Cruz was arrested Monday after allegedly spraying multiple women with a hose, according to police.

Cruz was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department on Monday morning local time and charged with a battery, police said. He was released on his own recognizance, or without bail, on Monday afternoon.

The LAPD did not share any details on what happened leading up to the incident, or a motive for why Cruz would allegedly spray the women with water.

It is not clear how many women were involved, but at least one of them chose to press charges, according to police.

The actor must appear in court Wednesday, Oct. 1, police said.
