JOELTON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Those concerned about speeding on Rawlings Road in Joelton have a chance to share their concerns and learn about plans to address it Tuesday night.
The Rawlings Road Traffic Calming meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church Joelton.
Those in Metro Council District 1 are invited to attend the meeting, which will be facilitated by the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure.
At issue is the portion of Rawlings Road between Clarksville Pike and Eatons Creek Road. According to NDOT, residents in the neighborhood applied for the NDOT Traffic Calming Program with a goal of lowering traffic speeds and making the street safer for people walking, biking, transit, and driving.
