ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Thanks to an online tour, the history behind Robertson County's historic churches is just a click away.

"The number of churches that we have in the county is just sort of a representation of the moral compass," historic church tour creator Kevin Ragland said.

On almost every corner, churches of every denomination line Robertson County streets, showing the community's roots run deep.

"It didn't matter what the denomination was; it was a community church. They would all go there together," historic church tour creator Lisa Ragland said. "Wherever your churches were at, then the people would build around it, and that would start a lot of our communities and our little towns that we've got here."
