WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Williamson County Schools is reporting a slight drop in enrollment this year.
That number is 41,374 students, which is down from 41,750 last year.

Williamson County Schools Superintendent Jason Golden told the school board the decline is the most noticeable in the youngest grades.
"Our rising kindergarten class was substantially smaller than our rising senior class," he said. "This is year three of that trend."
Despite the dip, the district maintains a 97.8% graduation rate. Last year, students accepted more than $110 million in scholarships.
