NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Nashville Fire Department responded to a house in South Nashville early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters were called to the 2200 block of Kline Avenue around 1:30 a.m. after a couple awoke to find their house on fire, according to officials on the scene. The first units to arrive reported seeing heavy flames on the back side of the house.

Officials said the damage was mostly contained to the exterior and second level. It is expected to be livable once repairs are completed.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
