SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — 24 years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, many Utahns are preparing to honor those who lost their lives.
Various Utah cities and foundations are coming together to host events and exhibits throughout the week.
The 9/11 Project
The annual 9/11 Project will take place at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds (475 S Main Street, Spanish Fork) from Sept. 10 through Sept. 13. The project will have two events: Touch a Truck Exhibit and 9/11 Project Main Experience.
The Touch a Truck Exhibit will be hosted by the Major Brent Taylor Foundation who says the event will allow families to explore fire trucks, ambulances, police cruisers, and military vehicles—and to meet the first responders who operate them.
