SLIDELL, La. — A Slidell woman was arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident that left a co-worker critically injured in a parking lot over the weekend, according to the Slidell Police Department.
Police arrested 67-year-old Lillian Sellers of Mandeville, La on Tuesday.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 7, paramedics were dispatched to Greenbriar Community Care Center, following a report of a woman who supposedly had fallen. The victim was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
Medical personnel later determined the injuries "were consistent with being struck by a vehicle, not a fall," a release said.
