Scratch another rough railroad crossing from the list!

For months, our viewers have been complaining about the troubled tracks on Route 31 near Texas Roadhouse and COR Center.

After bringing your complaints to CSX, repairs have been made.

A CSX spokesperson said crews repaired the existing track. They removed the damaged concrete, replaced the rubber sealing material, resurfaced, and repaved.

The work took about three days to complete.

This is just the latest crossing to be repaired or removed by CSX after the YS Team reported on the problem.

In 2023, CSX repaired or removed some popular problem spots, including: • Soule Road in Clay • Route 290 (Manlius Center Road) in DeWitt • The tracks near Crouse-Hinds in Syracuse/Salina
