DUBUQUE, Iowa — UnityPoint Health - Finley Hospital and the Finley Health Foundation will soon begin renovations on the Family Birthing Suites’ dedicated C-section suite, with completion expected by February 2026.

The project aims to enhance the operating room's layout and functionality, backed by the Finley Health Foundation’s Healthy Births and Babies Capital Campaign, which began in Fall 2023.

During the renovation, C-sections will be performed in the hospital’s general surgical suites.

Barbara Potts, Executive Director of the Finley Health Foundation, said donor support has fully funded the $1.4 million renovation, offering a new space close to the labor and delivery suites.
