OCONTO, Wis. (WBAY) - The Oconto County doctor charged with the sexual assault of a child was back in court Tuesday. According to online court records, Dr. Isaias Cupino waived the time limits for the next steps in his case.

Cupino faces three charges, including first-degree child sexual assault.

Oconto Falls police arrested the 65-year-old doctor in late August.

According to the criminal complaint, police investigated a cybertip about images uploaded from Oconto Falls, and a police detective recognized the doctor in one of the images.

Authorities say there was also a video showing a toddler being sexually abused.

Cupino’s preliminary hearing is now set towards the end of the month.

He remains in custody on a $250,000 cash bond.
