A Maine man who was struck by a vehicle in Farmington on Friday night is improving and he’s expected to recover from his injuries, according to police.
The pedestrian, a 57-year-old Charleston, Maine man, was struck on Route 6 near Farmington Chase Crescent shortly after 8 p.m.

Police said he suffered serious injuries and he was in critical condition when he was flown to an area hospital.
His condition has been upgraded to stable.
Police said the driver who hit the main remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
