HARRISBURG, Pa. (WPHL) -- A Philadelphia Common Pleas Court judge is now facing charges after being accused of violating the state's ethics rules earlier this year.
According to the complaint from the Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania, Judge Scott DiClaudio is accused of violating the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Code of Judicial Conduct.
The Board also filed a petition to suspend DiClaudio without pay.
The charges stem from an ethics complaint filed in April. According to an earlier report from The Associated Press, DiClaudio is accused of using his status as a Philadelphia judge to promote his wife's business, Shay's Steaks.
The Judicial Conduct Board of Pennsylvania notes that if any of the charges have been "proven by clear and convincing evidence,"
