The body of a Mason City woman reported missing on Friday was found in a storage shed Tuesday morning.

Based on information available at this time, foul play is not suspected in the death of Kaylin Ingersoll, 34, of Mason City, according to a Mason City Police Department press release.

At approximately 7:12 a.m. on Tuesday, the MCPD was notified of an unresponsive female who was found in a storage unit. Officers and emergency medical personnel responded and found Ingersoll was deceased.

A death investigation is underway. The MCPD will await medical findings and results from the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in the coming weeks, according to the press release.
