Two Oregon restaurants land on New York Times list of America’s 50 best

A Northern Vietnamese restaurant in Portland and a Caribbean restaurant in Eugene were named to a New York Times list of 50 great American restaurants for 2025 .

Not quite a new restaurant guide, though more than half the featured restaurants opened since 2024, the Times describes this list — now in its fifth year — as a guide to the “50 best places in America right now.”
