The United States Food and Drug Administration has announced that Middlefield Original Cheese Co-op has recalled multiple brands of its cheese from its facility in Middlefield, Ohio, due to potential listeria contamination.
The company issued its recall on Sept. 5. The recalled items were produced May 30, 2025, and Aug. 13, 2025, and distributed in Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Texas between July 7, 2025, and Aug. 14, 2025, via distributors, dining halls and retail establishments.
