SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The city of Shreveport wants you to be aware of an overnight lane closure on Interstate 220.

A temporary overnight lane closure will impact the inside westbound lane of I-220 between South Lakeshore Drive and Hilry Huckaby III Avenue (LA 173). Drivers are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time when traveling through this area.

The temporary closure is set to start on Thursday, September 11, at 9:00 p.m. It is expected to reopen on Friday, September 12, by 5:00 a.m.

Appropriate signs and traffic control measures will be in place to assist drivers.
