WASHINGTON, Arkansas (KTAL/KMSS) — The staff of Historic Washington State Park is hosting "Dances of the Past," an evening of dance and fellowship on September 20, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Come with or without experience, alone or with a partner, to "Dances of the Past." Learn about different dances from history.
Throughout history, dance has been used to socialize, romance, exercise, make friends, express emotions, and as an art form. Learning how people danced in the past can connect people to history in a fun way.
Reservations are required. Attendance costs $15 for individuals or $25 for couples. Comfortable shoes are recommended, casual or period dress is welcome.
