Manchester United have been told they let a player leave the club this summer who has 'been better than Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte'.

The summer transfer window was a busy few months for the Reds despite Ruben Amorim warning that his club could struggle to complete business. United's attack has enjoyed a complete overhaul after the defence was solidified during the January window.

On deadline day, United managed to add Senne Lammens to their squad to bolster the goalkeeping department and ensure the Reds had a solid, if not spectacular window. However, the one area of the pitch that remained untouched was midfield.
