LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE BY TTU ATHLETICS) - One of Texas Tech’s most anticipated basketball matchups each season will be featured on ESPN Big Monday when Kansas travels to Lubbock for an 8 p.m. tipoff on February 2, 2026 at United Supermarkets Arena. The primetime slot is one of six ESPN Big Monday games announced by the Big 12 for the upcoming 2025-26 season in advance of the full conference schedule.

Along with hosting Kansas, the Red Raiders will also play BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Houston, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, TCU and Utah this season in Big 12 games at United Supermarkets Arena. The full conference schedule will be announced at a later date. Texas Tech has announced its full non-conference schedule, including its season opener against Lindenwood on Tuesday, November 4.
