Evacuation orders for the Mine Creek wildfire along the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt have been lifted as of 9:43 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) and the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) have lifted their evacuation orders for two addresses in the Coquihalla Lakes area, and for 6705 Juliet Drive in Electoral Area “N”.

However, the two evacuation alerts issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) and the Fraser Valley Regional District (FVRD) remain in place.
