MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCSC) - Mount Pleasant Police arrested a Charleston man in a North Charleston armed robbery case after spotting a vehicle mentioned in a “be on the lookout” alert, police say.

Unique Glover, 28, is being charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, according to a release from the North Charleston Police Department.

Glover is charged in a gold chain robbery at the Mega Pawn Shop on Rivers Avenue at about 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Employees told police a man tried on a gold chain and then tried to leave the store. When he was confronted, he displayed a firearm before running out of the store, employees said.
