A 2024 sixth-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks, James signed with the Patriots practice squad last year. He didn’t appear in any games in 2024, but made his New England debut in its Week 1 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The 24-year-old played two defensive snaps and five special teams snaps and had one tackle.
