ATLANTA — A woman attacked at the Lenox MARTA station is speaking publicly for the first time, sharing her terrifying experience and raising new questions about safety after revealing a fourth victim in the string of Buckhead sexual assaults.

Bernice Brown said she first encountered the suspect on Sept. 2, at station along East Paces Ferry Road when she heard a scream as she rode the escalator down to the platform with her bicycle. Credit: WXIA

“When I was coming down the escalator with my bicycle, I heard a hurling scream,” Brown said.

Brown said she then spotted a young woman crying.

"I go behind the pillar and I see a young Spanish girl crying," Brown explained.

She added, “I was like did he touch you, and she says yeah,” Brown said.
