The Jets lost their season opener to the Steelers in painful fashion : on a 60-yard field goal in the final minute after squandering two fourth-quarter leads.
But they seemed to find an offensive identity, which is a bigger development because for most of the last decade their only identity on that side of the ball has been consistent: one of the worst offenses in the league.
