A police officer in Bristol was injured late Monday when their cruiser was struck by what police described as a fleeing suspect outside a school.
The incident unfolded shortly before midnight at Mountain View School on Vera Road, according to Lt. Patrick Krajewski of the Bristol Police Department .
The officer suffered minor injuries after their cruiser was struck by a motorist who was fleeing from the area, Krajewski said without elaborating on the nature of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
