LYMAN, S.C. —

The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources are investigating after a man drowned in a lake Tuesday morning.

The coroner's office was called to Lyman Lake Drive just after 9 a.m. regarding a possible drowning. Latest Forecast

According to the coroner, between 8:17 a.m. and 8:58 a.m., 88-year-old Grady Leon Johnson of Inman drowned in Lyman Lake. He was fishing at the time of the incident.
