PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - The Pittsburgh Steelers defense had plenty of issues in the team's win against the New York Jets. Pittsburgh will now be without three defenders ahead of its home opener against Seattle on Sunday.

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin ruled out rookie Derrick Harmon, safety DeShon Elliott and linebacker Malik Harrison. With Harmon still recovering from an MCL sprain, Elliott is the most notable update.

The Texas product exited Sunday's win with a knee injury. Multiple reports indicate that Elliott is also dealing with an MCL sprain.

With Pittsburgh already having depth concerns at safety, the team signed veteran Jabrill Peppers to help replace Elliott.
