Bottineau County, ND (KXNET) — A 43-year-old Antler man died on Tuesday, September 9, after a collision in Bottineau County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Troopers say the man was driving a Chevrolet Silverado at a high rate of speed on 18th Avenue. The driver went through an uncontrolled intersection of 18th Avenue and 93rd Street NW and struck a 43-year-old Kenmare man driving a sprayer.
Patrol notes that the driver of the Silverado was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was transported by ambulance to Trinity Health Hospital, where he later died due to his injuries.
The driver of the sprayer was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
