SALISBURY, Mass. —
A Massachusetts man was arrested Tuesday after police said he made a series of bomb threats online.
Scott Merchant, 36, of Salisbury, was charged with bomb/terroristic threats and threatening to commit a crime, murder. Latest Forecast

Video from Sky5 showed a large law enforcement response at the time of Merchant's arrest on Park Street near a Boys and Girls club.
FBI special agents first notified Salisbury police of the threats that Merchant allegedly made on social media, which involved guns and explosives.
Merchant was arraigned Tuesday in Newburyport District Court.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
