A patriotic Long Island restaurateur went the extra mile to shut down airspace above his eatery to host a massive, first-of-its-kind drone tribute to first responders and the victims of 9/11, all for a very simple, but touching reason.

“The slogan is ‘Never Forget,’ but, unfortunately, people are forgetting,” Embassy Diner owner Gus Tsiorvas told The Post.

“That’s what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to remind people that we should never forget what first responders did all those years ago during 9/11,” added Tsiorvas, who drapes his Bethpage establishment with troves of American flags with a “Home of the Brave” sign. 4

He arranged for over 350 synchronized drones to light up the night sky in more than 10 different formations, honoring the NYPD, FDNY, Port Authority and other rescuer
