Heavy rain has caused flooding in parts of Port Orange this week, leaving residents scrambling to protect their homes.

"There was a lot of water on the back porch. It went down last night. It came up again. And it's not going down like it was previously," she said.

With more rain in the forecast, Hall is taking precautions. "I'm putting cinder blocks up underneath my furniture that I just got from the previous storm, trying to save it," she said.
