Ward 2 Coun. Jennifer Wyness and Ward 5 Coun. Raj Dhaliwal will re-run in the upcoming municipal election

Two more Calgary city council members will seek a second term, with Ward 2 Coun. Jennifer Wyness and Ward 5 Coun. Raj Dhaliwal confirming their candidacies for re-election Tuesday.

Wyness, a first-term councillor who represents a swath of the city’s northwest suburbs on both sides of Stoney Trail, said it was never a secret that she intended to run for another term.

“It takes four years to learn this job, and I feel like I’ve finally got a strong foundation to continue to progress work for Ward 2 in the City of Calgary,” the Citadel resident said.
