NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Some spotty showers around the area this afternoon will be fading out this evening. Hopefully you saw rain today but if you didn't, it's going to be a while before chances come back. Dewpoints are back in the 70s, so tonight will be muggy with lows in the upper 60s north and low to mid-70s south.
On Wednesday drier air filters in as an upper trough digs south. That will push rain chances back toward the coast, leaving only a slight chance of showers near SE Louisiana. Most areas will be dry with highs in the low 90s. Overnight lows will dip a bit cooler north of I-10 (mid to upper 60s) while staying in the low to mid-70s farther south.
