A Twin Falls woman was sentenced Thursday in Blackfoot after pleading guilty to not notifying the coroner or police about the death of an infant as part of a plea agreement.
Angel Nevaeh Newberry, 18, was initially charged with felony failure to notify or delay notification of death but agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor version of the same charge. In exchange the prosecution agreed to recommend a suspended jail sentence and a period of supervised probation.
