The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating after a body was found inside an impounded Tesla registered to singer D4vd, KABC reported.
The remains were discovered in the front trunk of the Tesla, which is registered in Hempstead, Texas, to David Anthony Burke, which is the real name of the singer, the outlet reported.
The LAPD told Newsweek that detectives found "possible human remains" and is conducting a death investigation, adding that it did not have information on the owner of the vehicle.
A spokesperson for D4vd told NBC Los Angeles that the singer has been informed and "is fully cooperating with the authorities."
