Prior to the 2025 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs had their fair share of doubters when it came to their ability to climb back to the top of the NFL mountain, and the Week 1 performance against the Los Angeles Chargers will see more people leave the bandwagon.

The 27-21 loss was painful viewing, with the Chiefs being outplayed by Justin Herbert and Co., as some think the AFC West will have a different winner in 2025 for the first time in nine years.

Do I subscribe to the fact that the Chiefs are there for the taking? After Week 1, it is hard to suggest not, but let's not overreact to one game, shall we?
