SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) -- A Salina middle school teacher has been arrested after being accused of providing a teen, and possibly others, with alcohol and THC products.

Salina police stated that a parent of a 16-year-old boy contacted the department over the weekend regarding text messages exchanged between the teen and a teacher.

The woman was arrested on Tuesday and booked into jail on charges of felony contributing to a child’s misconduct, aggravated endangerment of a child, distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful social hosting, and furnishing alcohol to a minor.

Police say USD 305 is cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing. Police are working to determine if any other children may have been involved.
