CLEVELAND, Ohio — A monthlong U.S. Marshals Service operation in Cleveland led to the arrests of 130 fugitives, the recovery of 10 children and the seizure of several firearms, officials said.

The effort, called Operation TriDENT, was carried out with local, state and federal officers working together across Cleveland, according to the marshals.

The operation focused on fugitives wanted for violent crimes, including homicide, gun offenses and felonious assault.

Authorities arrested five homicide suspects, along with 46 people wanted on charges of felonious assault and 20 on charges involving weapons. Officers also seized 11 firearms — two of which were reported stolen — and more than 3,000 rounds of ammunition, according to the marshals.
