The loquacious Colorado coach took aim at the media on Tuesday as reports of the Buffaloes turning to third-stringer Ryan Staub at quarterback for Friday’s Big 12 opener at Houston took off.

“I’m not confirming nothing to y’all, you know that,” Sanders told reporters Tuesday . “We ain’t like that, we’re good. We have capable guys, Staub has been doing a phenomenal job and getting a majority of the reps, but I haven’t made that assessment or decision yet.”

Staub leapfrogging Kaidon Salter and Julian Lewis to take the starting reins certainly would be noteworthy.
