The grind continues for high school football teams throughout the state of Georgia as Week 5 of the season approaches.

There are some big games on the slate in the Greater Savannah area. Islands will play at Groves as the Savannah Chatham Public School System celebrates the opening of its newest sports facility — Groves Stadium.

Savannah Christian (3-1) will look to bounce back from its first loss of the season with a tough matchup against visiting Fellowship Christian, which is ranked No. 2 in the state among Class A-3A Private Schools in the state by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. SCPS is ranked No. 6.

Jenkins will face Beach on Thursday night at Savannah High. Calvary Day looks to stay unbeaten when the Cavs host Windsor Forest on Friday, and Richmond Hill looks to improve to
