Pikeville is the new No. 1 team in Class A after beating Raceland on Friday.

Christian Academy, in Class 3A, is the only unanimous No. 1 team in the rankings.

There’s a new No. 1 team in Class A in this week’s Kentucky High School Football Media Poll.

Pikeville (2-1) took the top spot after defeating previous No. 1 Raceland 35-27 on Friday. Kentucky County Day is No. 2 in the Class A poll, followed by Campbellsville and Raceland.

The No. 1 teams in the other five classes stayed the same — Trinity (6A), Scott County (5A), Paducah Tilghman (4A), Christian Academy (3A) and Beechwood (2A).
